Cat Care would like to welcome Dr. Anne Meyers to our team!

She will be starting July 1st, 2019.

"I have just joined Cat Care as a newly graduated veterinarian from Michigan State University. I am excited to work in a clinic that caters to our feline friends.

During my veterinary school years I studied all kinds of animals, but found myself gravitating towards having mostly cats as my patients during my clinical rotations. I attribute this to foster-failing my cat, Magnolia, during my third year of veterinary school and then proceeding to foster a litter of kittens a few months later. I spent 3 years on the Animal Welfare Judging Team during my veterinary school years. This experience has made the mental well-being of my patients and their owners very important to me. I enjoy learning about behavioral modification, pain management, and nutritional management to best care for my patients in all stages of life. I also enjoy dermatology, ophthalmology, and surgery.

I grew up 15 minutes away from the clinic in Clawson and I am happy to be back in the area. I have recently become engaged and have started wedding planning! I also have two rabbits, Bun Bun and Bella, who are basically like cats but eat more hay. I am looking forward to meeting all the Cat Care clients and kitties!"
